Sunscreen is regarded as the best possible protection from the sun. People spending time on the beach must apply a good amount of sunscreen, liberally, especially at the beginning of their beach vacation. Sunscreen lotions are freely available.
It is recommended that adults should use a good sunscreen with minimum SPF, sun protection factor, of 15. For babies, it is advisable to use sunscreens with a SPF of more than 30, as their skin is more sensitive and can get affected easily. While applying sunscreen, more importance should be given to the face, nose, ears and shoulders.
A lip balm, with a SPF of 15 or more, should also be used on a regular basis. Sunburns can ruin a well-planned beach vacation. In order to save the skin from the sun, the application of a high factor sunscreen is a must. Sunburns are caused not only due to the sun, but also the cool breeze that keeps blowing over. Beach vacations and sunscreen are linked.
